As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players await the Season 1 Reloaded update next week, a new update has gone live which squashes some bugs and adjusts some of the multiplayer maps’ spawn points. The list of map spawn adjustments includes Meat, one of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ‘ s newest original maps, which went live as part of Season 1 last month alongside another original 6v6 map named Gre
The difference here is that this won’t be a new entry, but a return to what the series was at that time. As such, it opens up a possibility to not only reintroduce a setting that many could perhaps have forgotten, but also introduce the days without robots and drones and aerial-dominating killstreaks that only embellished the “rich get richer; poor get poorer” mentality entries like Modern Warfare 2 got pressingly wrong. Modern Warfare’s design was a lot simpler. Its 3-5-7 kill-streak system may be deemed minimalistic by recent standards, but back then it didn’t over-complicate or make 90% of player’s strive to simply getting a tactical nuke, so predictable (Harriers, AC130, bo-WEEP bo-WEEP…done!).
Though that title alone doesn’t do the game justice. The game is a thrilling survival experience on a beast-ridden Skull Island. Ammo is scarce and often makes players grab anything they can to fend for themselves. It was a tension-wrought experience, packed with great moments and well-crafted gameplay. It was a game that never got the chance to grace a Nintendo console, so let it find a way on the Swi
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has recently unveiled its plans for its first mid-season Reload. Slated for next week, the smaller update is set to bring a new original 6v6 multiplayer map named Rio, and will give players access to two exciting new weapons in the HRM-9 SMG and the TAQ Evolvere LMG. Additionally, Season 1 Reloaded will see the return of The Boys’ collaboration , with A-Train and Firecracker joining Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir in the in-game shop. Players can also get involved in a limited time “Suped Up” version of Kill Confirmed where, instead of tags, fallen enemies drop Temp-V Field Upgrades to
The context of the story is that we’re in the not-to-distant future. We’re not giving a date yet. There’s a second age of the space race where Earth’s natural resources have been depleted, and we have to go out into our solar system to gather these resources. We see the privatization of space and a galactic economy grow out of the need for these resources.
For Multiplayer specifically, the STG44 retains its high damage per shot and long-range potential, which both synergize well with its decent fire rate for a high TTK . As mentioned earlier, the weapon is slightly on the slower side in terms of ADS speed, which might turn away some Multiplayer-only players. However, its attachment options are fairly versatile, making it rather viable for both modes with the right attachments. The weapon also boasts one of the clearest iron sights in the FPS game maps, thus freeing up an attachment slot for enhancing other attribu
Though many players would love to go back to the great online multiplayer, thanks to its well-crafted map design and weaponry, the game would still stand on its own as a campaign-only package. Another go at the ‘All Ghillied Up’ sniper mission? Yes, ple
That’s not to say I disapprove entirely with the series’ recent trend in relying solely on mere three-route, choke-point maps with blatant kill areas. Put simply, there’s nothing better than playing the Sniper; picking a perfectly unnoticeable spot to lie down (or at least what one might consider perfect) and playing the waiting game. Yeh apparently snipers aren’t meant to take cover and wait — what a stupid idea. In essence, it’s been a while since the humble Sniper was approached with as much the same consideration as those who saw themselves the SMG bearer or Shotgun wielder. Seeing the more spacious maps with a visual touch-up here and there — not unlike the return of a simpler kill-streak system — could offer an interesting question on how design factors in, if at all, to the annual Call of Duty game.
Season 1 Reloaded is set to hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone next week on January 17. While players await the new 6v6 map Rio and the arrival of A-Train and Firecracker from The Boys, they can enjoy some of the positive changes brought to Call of Duty with this latest upd
It feels like the same game because we didn’t want to break it. It was such a perfectly tuned experience. From a graphics perspective, all the effects have been completely redone. All the materials and textures have been completely redone. The animations and models have been polished and refined. The lighting engine is completely brand new, and it just really feels like a brand new experience.
